I can’t say this was on my bingo card for 2025.
Learning what kind of music famous folks listen to is always interesting. A perfect example of this was in 2023 when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted about how much he loved Jelly Roll’s record. Don’t get me wrong, Jelly makes some uplifting and encouraging music, but to learn that The Rock was such a big fan was something I was not expecting. Of course, The Rock has ofren said how much he likes traditional country music, including the likes of Cody Jinks, Sturgill Simpson and Jamey Johnson.
Last night, another one of those moments occurred when Kylie Jenner featured Ella Langley as the musical entertainment for a Sprinter Vodka Soda pop-up event in Athens, GA.
Needless to say, country music fans were surprised too:
“The duo I didn’t know I needed.”
“SO here for this friendship!”
“THE DUO I DIDNT KNOW I NEEDED UNTIL NOW”
“The collab we weren’t expecting!”
“A partnership we didn’t know we needed.”
“This is crazy and also great.”
“Go off. AND a duo that’s iconic?”
Kylie hosted an event in the University of Georgia college town last night to promote her new peach Sprinter Vodka Soda flavor. And there is no better way to celebrate the launch of the new flavor than among a crowd that knows a thing or two about peaches. Some Georgia Peaches attended the event not only to sample the new flavor and see the youngest of the Jenner sisters but also to hear some live music. The Alabama native Ella Langley was invited to perform.
Even though she was advertised as a musical guest, many fans were still shocked to see that Jenner booked a country artist to play at her event. Not just any country artist, but a CMA Award-winning country artist with one of the most (if not the most) viral hits of 2024.

Now, who’s to say that Jenner listens to Ella Langley’s music? There might be the chance that Jenner had no idea who was performing and she just showed up to an event her team put together featuring someone who would land with the local audience.
But if she does listen to country music…ride on. I would love to learn that Kylie Jenner is a secret country music junkie.
As for Ella Langley, this is such a cool moment for her. While with anything these days, there are some haters in the comments of footage from the night, noting this was not a good move for her to play a Kylie Jenner gig. But I greatly disagree with that take. Langley is on her way to becoming one of the top dogs among female country artists, and to have a celebrity as big as Jenner book you for an event with her name on it is a huge career milestone.
Given the event was also featured in the heart of the South, booking a country act makes total sense. Maybe we will see more country artists at future Sprinter Vodka Soda events, but man, do they have big shoes to fill after Ella Langley.
