Zach Bryan’s Ex-Girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia Reveals The Amount She Would’ve Taken To Sign An NDA, After Turning Down $12 Million

Everyone has a number.

Of course, I think most of us have heard more than we wanted to about Zach Bryan’s breakup with Barstool Sports personality Brianna LaPaglia, AKA Brianna Chickenfry, that happened at the end of last year, notably the story about him offering her $12 million to sign an NDA and never reveal the details about what went on between them.

Well, she obviously turned it down, and on her BFF’s podcast and with other outlets since, she’s revealed quite a bit about the bad parts of their relationship, while Zach has remained mostly completely silent about his side of the story.

Last week on the One Night With Steiny podcast, Brianna discussed the saga with host Aaron Steinberg, telling him that it was so bad she wants to date women now instead and completely “switch teams,” to put it in her words.

He joked that, if she wanted to live happily ever after with someone, no matter who it is, she should probably not date “rockstars,” and she agreed that she would “never again” do that, but also explained that his career and fame really were not the big issues:

“No, never again. But like, dude, f*** off. Because everyone says that, but he was feeding me lies that it was gonna be happily ever after. He was. He was the most normal dude… there’s air quotes on that.”

She added that she went on every tour, and never stayed back because he wanted her there:

“Yeah, I had to go on every tour. Yeah, I mean, I think he wanted a piece of home with him to, like, stabilize him a little bit. So it was like that instead of cray sh*t on the road.”

Steinberg asked an interesting question about something I haven’t heard her talk in-depth about much in terms of a counter offer from his team after she declined, and she explained that it started at $5 million and went from there, though she said she “laughed in their face” at that one.

Interestingly, she also added that she would’ve signed the contract for “100 million,” though obviously, that is insanely unrealistic, even for someone as famous and wealthy as Zach:

“No, no rebuttal. Once I declined… well it started low, and then they kept going higher. And then it hit $12 million. I think it was five [million] and I laughed in their face…. if they offered me, like, $100 million I would’ve. That’s crazy.”

Steinberg pointed out that he doesn’t have “$100 million to just give you like that,” and Brianna seemed to think her ex is “richer than people think,” though that’s still a wild number to throw out there… but she doubled down on the fact that, realistically, there “wasn’t a world” in which she would’ve taken money from him to stay quiet:

“I don’t know… he’s richer than people think… $12 million was even crazy, but there wasn’t a world where I was gonna take anything so I’m glad I didn’t.”

Brianna went onto say that $5 million simply wasn’t enough for “what he did to me” (though she did agree that, in general, it’s obviously a lot of money), which is why she immediately turned it down when they first started negotiating:

“Sometimes I’m like, I could have the sickest crib. But $5 million, I was like, that’s not enough… for what he did to me. Like, that’s a lot of money.”

Ultimately, Brianna explained that she gained a lot from turning down multi-millions down, including a “bigger connection” with her audience. She is also the January digital cover model for Sports Illustrated, which is definitely an impressive career milestone.

Brianna did joke that sometimes when she gets up for work, though, she does think about the fact that maybe she should’ve just taken the money…

“I just got more value since I have a bugger connection with my audience now. That’s cool. But sometimes I wish I took the $12 mil. I mean, not really, but sometimes when I wake up and I’m like, I don’t wanna go to work… I think about it, I’m working so much.

I’m working every single day now because I always have to do something, do the next thing, I’m like, ‘F***, I’m tired. Should’ve took the $12 mil.'”

I think she definitely made the right call, but yeah, $12 million is a helluva lot of money to turn down… especially when you wish you could just sleep in for 30 more minutes instead of getting up for work.
