Incredible numbers from Bryan.

It’s hard to imagine a more fascinating artist in today’s country music landscape than Zach Bryan. In a six-year span, the “Something in the Orange” singer has gone from recording his debut album, DeAnn, in a Florida Airbnb and scoring viral hits online to selling his publishing catalog for a staggering $350 million and, most notably, setting the record for the highest-attended concert in U.S. history when he performed to a crowd of 112,408 at Michigan Stadium.

Though there’s no doubt that artists such as Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson and Cody Jinks were the forefathers of the current independent and alternative country renaissance we’ve currently been experiencing over the better half of a decade, there’s no denying that Bryan was the one who blew the door off the hinges, so to speak.

After a busy year in 2026 that included the release of a sprawling, 25-song album back in January, With Heaven On Top, as well as a world tour that just wrapped up recently in Auburn, Alabama, Bryan was back once again last week with his highly anticipated EP, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs.

In true Zach Bryan fashion, it’s another stellar effort that sees him stretching himself from both a vocal and sonic perspective throughout the project. The EP included the likes of fan-favorites on tour like “Lodi When,” “Robot Killed The Working Man,” “Backwards” and “You’ll Get By,” as well as features from the likes of the legendary Turnpike Troubadours on “Plainsman” alt-pop star, Lana Del Rey, on “Lies,” which seems to be the runaway hit.

Just when you thought Bryan’s hot streak was going to cool off, he joined elite company on Spotify with his breakout hit, “Heading South,” becoming just the third country artist in history to score at least three songs with over one billion streams on the platform.

This afternoon, he made even more history by becoming the fifth-highest-selling country artist of all time with a staggering 125.5 million units sold in the U.S. alone, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

With this, Bryan, who was recently ranked as the eighth-highest-selling act in the genre, has now passed legends such as George Strait, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw. Today, he only sits behind the likes of Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Garth Brooks and Luke Bryan.

The major sales boost is highlighted by a hefty number of 37 brand new certifications from the RIAA.

Among the most notable certifications, his 2023 hit collaboration with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything,” has officially sold over 10 million units and received a Diamond certification. In turn, it is now just the 28th country song ever to go Diamond, joining the likes of Luke Combs’ “Beautiful Crazy,” Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” and more.

What makes “I Remember Everything” Diamond status particularly notable is the fact that Bryan is now one of only six country artists in history to score two or more Diamond singles. With this, he joins Morgan Wallen (6), Luke Combs (4), Jason Aldean (2), Luke Bryan (2) and Kane Brown (2).

Other top earners include “Something in the Orange” rising to 15x Platinum, “Heading South” (6x Platinum), “Oklahoma Smokeshow” (5x Platinum), “Pink Skies” (5x Platinum), “Burn, Burn, Burn” (4x Platinum) and “Sun to Me” (4x Platinum). Additionally, Bryan’s debut album, DeAnn, finally received a Platinum certification while his self-titled 2023 album rose to 3x Platinum.

Finally, Bryan allowed the likes of Gabriella Rose (“Madeline”), Noeline Hofman (“Purple Gas”) to score their first-career Gold records, while Charles Wesley Godwin received his second-ever Gold record with “Jamie” and Kacey Musgraves notched her first-ever Diamond single with her appearance on the aforementioned “I Remember Everything.”
