If you’ve always wanted to own a piece of  Dolly Parton’s, now’s your chance… if you’ve got almost $8 million laying around.

According to Realtor.com, the home, located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, is on the market for $7.95 million.

Of course, the country icon sadly passed away at 80-years-old in Nashville Tennessee. Dolly had been dealing with undisclosed health issues for the last year or so, and she previously shared that she was having issues with severe kidney stones. Dolly’s reps confirmed she sadly died following a “brief battle with cancer,” though the specific kind was not revealed.

She and her longtime husband Carl Dean bought the property in 1985 for $750,000, and it has since been referred to as the “Dolly Parton house.” They sold it in 1990 for $1.2 million, and the current listing is being held by Edward Tinney of Nourmand and Associates. Insane to believe it’s gone up that much in 30 years.

The property has not been on the market for 25 years, though it has had different owners during that time span. The home totals 4,689 square feet, and was built in 1977, with a gated .35 acre lot total, sitting at the end of a cul-de-sac in the Bird Streets neighborhood, not far from the Sunset Strip.

The home has views of both downtown L.A. and the Pacific Ocean, and the kitchen has double Miele ovens, a six-top burner, custom cabinetry and even a wine fridge. There are four bedroom, and 5.5 bathrooms, as well as a library and media room, office space and a very large primary bedroom.

The primary suite has a private deck with stunning views, a coffee bar, two bathrooms, a fireplace, an office and a gym. Yes, all in one bedroom suite… it sounds like Dolly was living like the queen she was.

Dolly developed a vast real estate portfolio throughout her life, she’s owned homes all over the country, but she primarily lived just outside of Nashville, Tennessee in Brentwood in a home called Willow Lake Plantation.

It’s unclear exactly how all of her properties will be divided up, her nephew is currently in an ongoing legal battle with her estate, and she not only owned homes but offices, her new museum space and I’m sure plenty of other places the public never knew about, either.

This California home is just gorgeous, and you can take a look at all of the rooms in the photos below.
