Country Thunder Arizona has officially announced their second headliner: Florida Georgia Line.
North America’s largest country music festival brand has something exciting in store for Florence, Arizona when Country Thunder comes to town next year. The highly-anticipated festival – which boasts past headliners like Brooks & Dunn, Zach Top, Riley Green and Eric Church, just to name a few – is all set for April 8 through the 11 of 2027.
They’ve slowly been rolling out their billing, which has made for a fun experience for fans. Most recently, they released a teaser featuring an orange emoji and a peach emoji, and asked fans to guess who the second announced headliner will be. Country music listeners caught on to the hint rather quickly:
“Your Saturday night headliner is getting announced soon, and some of y’all are pretty confident in your guesses.”
The overwhelming assumption was that Florida Georgia Line was set to be announced as the Saturday headliner for the event, and fans hit the nail right on the head with their guesses.
Country Thunder made the news official earlier today, sharing this video of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard hopping in the car and headed to Florence, Arizona. The duo – which just recently reconciled – are ready to bring their diamond-selling hits like “Cruise” to the masses once again:
“LFG, Arizona.”
Two headliner announcements down, two to go.
Troy Vollhoffer, the CEO of Country Thunder Music Festivals, was thrilled to add Florida Georgia Line to the lineup that’s already shaping up to be a fun weekend for country music fanatics:
“Florida Georgia Line has been a huge part of some unforgettable Country Thunder moments over the years, so having Brian and Tyler back together on our stage is going to be really special. Our Arizona fans bring an incredible energy every year, and we know they’ve been waiting for a moment like this. Between Florida Georgia Line, Megan Moroney and everything else we still have coming, 2027 is shaping up to be one hell of a weekend in the desert.”
That’s right… they’ve already announced that Megan Moroney will be their headliner for Sunday of the festival (their pink and white cowboy boots teaser went over quite well). So the weekend of Country Thunder Arizona is sure to bring a little something for everyone, and there’s still plenty of other artists to be added to the lineup.
It’s really no surprise that the Country Thunder brand continues to deliver on all fronts, considering it’s become the premiere festival producer both in the United States and across the world. Their track record speaks for itself, and their strong history of sold out festivals shows that there’s not much that compares when it comes to being the top-tier, global live music brand for country music.
