Cody Johnson has been announced as the second headliner for the 2027 edition of Carolina Country Music Fest, bringing one of the festival’s most-requested headliners to Myrtle Beach for the first time.
According to Southern Entertainment co-founder Bob Durkin, fans have been asking to see CoJo at the long-running festival for quite a while now:
“Our fans have been asking us for years to bring Cody Johnson to CCMF, and we’ve been listening and working to make it happen. Cody is one of the biggest names in country music, and this will be his first time in Myrtle Beach and his first time on the CCMF stage. We know it’s going to be a night our fans won’t forget.”
CoJo joins Florida Georgia Line as two of the four headliners announced so far, and judging by the comments it’s clear that excitement is already through the roof to finally see him hit the main stage:

If you’ve ever seen CoJo in concert you know that he’s one of the best live entertainers in country music, so you know exactly why everybody is so excited to finally get the chance to see him at CCMF. I’ve seen him three times so far and every time just keeps getting better and more high-energy. I’m usually exhausted by the end of the night just from watching him.
The four-day festival runs June 10-13, 2027 and takes place just steps from the sand in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Last year was my first time at Carolina Country Music Fest, and I’m not sure that you could ask for a better festival experience (and this is coming from somebody who’s starting to get too old for festivals).
In addition to the main stage, the festival also features multiple other stages full of non-stop country music, along with everything from a wellness spa to get your IVs if you need them to a honky tonk and a cornhole tournament. There’s plenty to do throughout the day, and some of the best country music you could hope for, all in one spot.

The 2026 festival featured over 40 artists, including headliners like Post Malone, Riley Green, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, along with an all-star lineup of artists like Tracy Lawrence, Justin Moore, Chris Janson, Lauren Alaina, Flatland Cavalry, and many, many more.
