It’s hard to believe we’re already talking about festivals for 2027, but as summer comes to an end we’re finally starting to get lineups for next summer’s festivals – and Barefoot Country Music Fest is starting out hot by welcoming back a fan favorite.
The annual festival in Wildwood, New Jersey has been dropping hints about their headliners this week, and as some were able to guess, Carrie Underwood will once again be taking the main stage to headline the festival for the first time in six years.
The “Before He Cheats” singer last appeared on the lineup back in 2021, where she delivered a killer 22-song set filled with many of her 29 #1 hits.

The festival takes place directly on the New Jersey coast, between the famous Morey’s Piers, and provides a picturesque backdrop for four nights of country music, along with plenty for festival goers to do during their vacation. Wildwood, New Jersey is the southern-most barrier island in New Jersey and has been recognized as the top family vacation destination at the Jersey Shore for decades.

The 2027 edition of Barefoot Country Music Fest runs from June 10-17, and tickets are on sale now (there were a lot of people in the comments who were quick to jump on and lock down their tickets once it was announced that Carrie would be returning). 3-day general admission tickets start at just $320 before taxes and fees, which is cheaper than most tickets to a single concert these days and also include admission to the Thursday night kickoff concert.
