Country music superstar, Garth Brooks, is doing what he can to look out for fan’s wallets when he heads out on his 2026 Blame It All On My Roots arena tour.
The 64-year-old country star last brought his music to the masses with his Stadium Tour, which played its final show in the fall of 2022. Garth’s Las Vegas residency – Garth Brooks/Plus ONE – followed after that, but even that wrapped in July of 2024. All that to say, it’s been a while since the “Friends In Low Places” has brought his music to his fans, so it makes sense that he’s finally heading back out on the road next month.
Very early in the morning on July 7, Brooks shared this video of his dusty drum pod… and let’s just say it’s a tour teaser that only Garth could whip up:
“Oh yeah… how long’s it been, ol’ girl?”
Classic Garth. You can tell he’s excited for this tour… and to break out his iconic drum pod. Brooks says that’s just one of many ways that he and his team are bringing back the “retro arena era.”
The tour was officially confirmed a couple of hours after that drum pod video went out both on his website and Garth’s official social media accounts. The country superstar told everyone that the “wait is over,” and happily announced that his Blame It All On My Roots Tour will get kicked off in August:
“Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box. The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal.”
Brooks also revealed that the “new music” that he teased will be in the form of a live album titled Killer Live, which will be recorded during throughout the Blame It All On My Roots tour dates. Yes, Killer Live is the title… really teeing one up from Tom Segura, eh G?
And speaking of tour dates… as of right now, the only ones that Garth Brooks has revealed are the first two nights – August 21 and 22 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tickets for those back-to-back shows go on sale Friday, July 17. And I’m sure we’ll hear more about other stops Garth’s tour will make throughout the country by then.
Interestingly enough, Garth has chosen to make every single ticket that’s for sale – regardless of where it is in the arena – $154. When you break that down, it’s $140 for the ticket, and then $14 added on top of it in facility fees and service charges (plus taxes). So from the front row to the nose bleeds, every single seat costs the same. If you are wanting to see Garth Brooks live in concert… now would be the time to splurge on those front row tickets.
We’ll be on the lookout for more tour dates to be announced. As I stated earlier, it’s been a while since Garth has taken his show on the road, considering his last series of concerts took place in Las Vegas in 2024. So the tickets to see the country icon – especially being priced the same across the board – will likely be in high demand.
