Red Clay Strays Have Fans FIRED UP With New Gospel Church Choir Teaser

Red Clay Strays

The Red Clay Strays have something new on the way.

Anyone who calls themselves a fan of music knows that the Red Clay Strays – consisting of Drew Nix (electric guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass), John Hall (drums), Sevans Henderson (keys), and frontman Brandon Coleman – have been on the rise for quite some time.

They’ve released two stellar albums already (Moment of Truth, Made By These Moments), and there’s another on the way that’s supposed to drop sometime in the summer of 2026. Fans of the band have been waiting for any sort of update on that front ever since they shared their first single from the project – “People Hatin’” – back in October of last year.

Today, the Red Clay Strays shared this video below to let people know that something is coming soon. The video features a church choir singing and ends with a simple message of:

“Stay tuned…”

So what could that mean? And what should fans be staying tuned for?

There’s a couple of different things that this teaser could be… well, teasing. We know that the band from Mobile, Alabama is supposed to release a new album this summer (in June) thanks to a Joe Rogan interview from last year. So there’s always a chance that this video is meant to help introduce the new project, and its potential overarching theme.

The other option would be teasing the release of another single. The Red Clay Strays have already shared the aforementioned “People Hatin'” and a love song called “If I Didn’t Know You.” In fact, the band shared an ominous teaser featuring comedian Matt Rife shortly before they confirmed that “If I Didn’t Know You” was set to release. So it wouldn’t be crazy for fans to assume that there’s another song on the way.

Personally, if the above video is teasing a new song release, I hope it’s for the unreleased track “Revival” that the band has played live a handful of times since debuting it last September. The church choir featured in the video could be the intro to a music video that finally delivers “Revival” to Red Clay Strays fans.

In case you haven’t heard it, here’s the chorus and a clip from when Brandon Coleman and his band fired it up at Red Rocks:

“Come spark revival and be filled with glory
And through His power, your broken-hearted story
It’ll be made stronger, stronger, stronger, amen.”

Yeah… I’d be pretty excited if “Revival” is the next single they roll out, and that’s what this teaser is about.

But hey, if this latest teaser is leading fans to an album announcement, that’s fine by me too. After all, “Revival” will probably find a home on the Red Clay Strays’ next record. So it’d be a win-win for everyone.
