Is new Morgan Wallen coming soon? It looks like he’s at least been in the studio…
The country superstar is gearing up to hit the road on a stadium tour run this summer, which officially starts in April in Minneapolis, Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium, and it will run through August ending in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Lincoln Financial Field.
Of course, Morgan released his monster fourth studio album I’m The Problem in May of 2025, and he did go on a 20-show tour of the same name last year too, but since then, he’s been pretty quiet, though he did put out a studio cut of his cover of “Graveyard Whistling” in October of last year, which fans thought could potentially be part of a deluxe edition of I’m The Problem, but that hasn’t proven to be the case, at least not yet.
Yesterday, Morgan posted on Instagram for the first time in a while, sharing some photos of what he’s been up to as he gets closer to this huge tour, and he shared in the caption that it’s time for him to “come out of hibernation”:
“I guess it’s about time I come out of hibernation for a bit.”
And of course, fans noticed in the third slide that Morgan appears to be in a studio, which certainly hints at the fact that he’s been working on music:
Considering the tour is named Still the Problem, I would imagine he will drop at least a few new songs that could be an extension of his album, and I think it’s unlikely he’ll put out another album this year, or at least not until the second half of the year after the tour is over, but who knows…
Obviously, fans in the comments section are at least hoping that’s the case:
“Slide 3 looks like a studio… give us new music soon sir.”
“What if you dropped a song right now…?”
“Bet you won’t drop a single next month.”
“Time for a new song drop. Thanks.”
“Make another album.”
“PSSSSST, drop something today???”
“He’s in a studio in the 3rd picture.”
“We need new music lol
“Yep, need 30 new songs.”
“More albums more albums.”
Even artists as big as Morgan like to get fans excited before the embark on a huge tour like this, so I won’t be surprised if he does drop even one song before the first show, because I don’t think he included that studio photo on accident… stay tuned.
