Former Auburn Head Coach Hugh Freeze Caught Reposting NSFW Picture Of AI Model On Instagram

Hugh Freeze

C’mon Hugh… you can’t be doing that. Free time can be a dangerous thing, and former head coach Hugh Freeze has a lot of it ever since he was let go by the Auburn Tigers. Auburn’s football team finally reached a breaking point with Hugh Freeze this past season after the Tigers lost to the Kentucky Wildcats in November.

Freeze was already on the hot seat prior to the loss, so the writing was on the wall for the Tigers to move on, and that they did (one internet sleuth broke the firing news early when they noticed Freeze’s standing Sunday tee time at Auburn’s golf course was canceled).

Auburn athletic director John Cohen announced that the Tigers and Freeze had decided to part ways the day after the loss:

“I have informed Coach Freeze of my decision to make a change in leadership with the Auburn Football program. Coach Freeze is a man of integrity, and we are appreciative of his investment in Auburn and his relentless work over the last three years in bolstering our roster. Our expectations for Auburn Football are to annually compete for championships and the search for the next leader of Auburn Football begins immediately.”

Freeze had led the Auburn Tigers since 2022, and had a contract to serve as the head coach for Auburn for six years. Because he was fired before he fulfilled the entirety of that contract, he’ll now be owed just shy of $16 million. Just another example that one of the best jobs in the world is a fired college football coach.

Freeze had 15 wins and 19 losses during his time at Auburn, and went 6-16 in SEC Conference play. His tenure didn’t go as Freeze or Auburn planned it, and if you look at Hugh’s entire coaching career… one could argue that none of it has really gone as planned. Freeze’s previous stint at Ole Miss (before he rebuilt his image at Liberty) ended in a resignation after the university found out he was calling escort services – often times while on business trips using the university’s private plane.

And now, it looks like he may been caught red-handed in another scandal of sorts… though this time, he’s not currently employed by any football program.

College football fans collectively noticed that Freeze, whose name on Instagram is “coachhughfreeze,” had chosen to (or most likely accidentally) reposted an AI video of a scantily clad woman. The former Auburn head coach has since undone that particular repost – and added a couple more wholesome reposts for good measure – but screenshots are forever.

His bio of “Saved by Grace” and “Husband to Jill, Dad to Ragan, Jordan and Madison” isn’t the best look juxtaposed with what he got caught reposting below:

Tough look by Hugh Freeze.

As you might imagine, college football fans brought the jokes and called back to scandals of Hugh’s past when this repost news surfaced. One person even dove deeper into the internet sleuth research and found that Freeze used to follow a raunchy, suggestive AI account… and has since unfollowed it after social media uncovered his NSFW repost (he’s now following 184 people instead of 185).

And many online are poking fun by asking if the woman he reposted might be named “Grace,” since he says in his bio that he was saved by Grace:

I’ve got a pretty good feeling that AI woman’s name is not Grace…
