Big news in Bill Belichick’s relationship saga… Or so the internet thought so.
Ah, another parody post has gained traction, leaving thousands of internet users to fall victim to fake news profiles. Of course, AI-generated headlines are overrunning the internet these days.
It feels like every day I open Facebook, I see AI sludge about Dolly Parton and Reba announcing a co-headlining tour, or that Riley Green is getting his own Netflix show to talk about his upbringing (although this AI-generated byline would make for good TV). We can’t escape it, and often you have to put on your own investigative journalist hat to click beyond the graphic to see the lack of evidence behind a story supporting an AI headline.
Yet many people don’t look into what they see online or interact with a post before looking into the facts. Even worse, when a page makes it so apparent that they generate fake headlines, tagging themselves as a parody account, and they still find a way to bamboozle the internet, you can’t help but laugh at our own human stupidity.
A post on X (formerly Twitter) is taking the internet by storm, claiming that Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, have broken up:
“Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson are reportedly no longer dating.”
In case you’re not familiar with these two characters (have you been living under a rock), let’s do a quick overview.
The very public relationship between the 73-year-old former New England Patriots head coach and the 24-year-old has had many headline-grabbing moments. There was the disaster of an interview with CBS’s Sunday Morning, Jordon Hudson’s involvement with the North Carolina Tarheels football program (and the rumors she was banned from the facility at one point), and Bill Belichick attending Hudson’s adult cheerleading competitions, to name a few.
It was a real, zany, goldmine of stories in 2025.
To say that this news would leave fans rejoicing is an understatement. The public has been waiting patiently to see this relationship end. However, for those wishing for the downfall of Belichick and Hudson, they will be disappointed to learn this post is entirely fake news.
Shared by @ShaneTuttle, if X users took two seconds to view his profile, it would debunk this postas the user’s profile reads:
“Everything I do is Satire.”
Shane Tuttle’s got to feel good knowing that the post racked up fifteen thousand likes and counting, and nearly 2 thousand quotes and reposts.
Those who fell for this post got in some good practice of how they would react if this news were to become true one day. As Jordon Hudson said at the start of the year to the keyboard warriors coming after her and her relationship:
“Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”
