Another early win was handed out.
Last night, Ella Langley snagged her first ACM Award win, which is the first of eight total awards she could walk away with. Miranda Lambert helped surprise Langley with the news that she is the 2025 New Female Artist of the Year.
During Langley’s rock the country set, Miranda Lambert popped up on the screen to announce the exciting news.
“Hey, Ella, it’s me. I’m here to tell you how proud I am of you to be the top-nominated artist for the Academy of Country Music Awards this year.”
Langley looks at the screen to her side, confused why Miranda Lambert is on here, and quickly takes out her in-ear monitor so she can hear the message. Lambert names off some exceptional qualities about Langley before she delivers the big news to her and the Rock the Country crowd.
“But I’m also here to tell you some news. You, my friend, have won New Female Artist of the Year for the ACM Awards this year. We are going to celebrate so big in Dallas, Texas, they ain’t even ready. So Rock the Country, y’all give it up for my friend and New Female Artist of the Year, Ella Langley.”
Langley immediately chokes up, shocked that she is receiving this news mid-set. In the midst of her emotions, all she can choke out is a:
“God bless America.”
Which is quite fitting given she’s at Rock the Country. Later, the ACM cameras were set up in Langley’s bus, allowing her to share a few words about how much the award meant to her.
“I just like, every day of my life, I’ve just prayed about this and thought about it, and literally everything I’ve ever done was to be able to do this. So grateful for the team I have around me.
I’m just really grateful to have that are listening to the music and can see that it is truth that I’m just a real-life human being going through life like everyone else, and to see the things that I go through is something everyone else goes through. You know?
This is…this is…thank you.”
Langley tearfully says to the camera. You can tell in her voice that she is truly taken aback, not expecting to have won this award, but is so thankful that the Academy of Country Music selected her as the recipient.

The ACM Awards have the New Artist of the Year honors to two very deserving young artists, and are doing country music right with Ella Langley and Zach Top as the recipients.
I have a feeling that we’re just seeing Ella Langley getting started, and I hope she goes home from the ACM Awards show in Dallas on May 8th with a few more honors.
