There’s a new face coming to the world of rock music-and he’s still in diapers. If you haven’t seen the viral video of baby Callum absolutely shredding on the drums, you’re in for a treat. With 16 million likes and counting, and more than 90 MILLION views, the internet can’t get enough of the 19 month old prodigy who has better rhythm than anyone I know.
I mean… he was born with it. That’s the only explanation…

And of course, he’s super cute.
The TikTok, was posted by his proud dad who runs the account @Callumdrums, and it features little Callum seated at different places, but all naturally just drumming or tapping a very impressive beat on the table in front of him. The video then cuts to him on a drum kit, sticks in his little hands, barely tall enough to see over the toms, but absolutely shredding. It’s unbelievable.

We’re all thinking what these people are saying, you see him sitting behind the drum set and you almost have to rub your eyes in disbelief. According to his dad, Callum started showing interest in the drums before he could even walk. With a kid playing beats like that on the high chair-who wouldn’t want to sit him in front of a drum set to see what he’s capable of? Foo Fighters legendary drummer, Taylor Hawkins, tragically passed away in 2022… are we sure this kid isn’t him reincarnated? Neil Peart passed away in 2020… could it be? I don’t know how else I can explain this kind of talent at such a young age.
It’s just crazy how natural it looks. At first glance it’s just a baby banging on things and on the table, but the longer you watch the clips it’s obvious every hit has rhythm to it, and this baby is immediately more musically talented than anyone you know. 19 months y’all… not even 2 years old. Can you imagine what he can do at 10? Or 20?
His TikTok and Instagram have racked up thousands of followers in just days. (Deservedly so). The clips are not limited to just this video, he grooves to rock and drums to many different beats. It was definitely not just a one time thing.
So what’s next for Callum? Luckily, we’ve got a lifetime to find out. But I do know one thing for sure-this kid is going places.
