Maybe she was just doing some research for her new social media gig?
Of course, I think we’ve all heard about Bill Belichick’s much younger 24-year old former-cheerleader girlfriend (he’s 72 years old) named Jordon Hudson, who he met on a plane. She stole the show at the NFL Honors Ceremony, and they rest as they say, is history…
It was revealed not long ago that he had hired Jordon Hudson to help him out with the team’s social media in his new gig as head coach at the University of North Carolina, even requesting that UNC staff copy Hudson on their emails to him now that she’s helping out.
I mean, it’s a little weird, but he probably knows next to nothing about social media, so whatever… he’s Bill Belichick, he can do what he wants. I’m more skeptical about the kind of success he’ll have coaching Chapel Hill, as their football program seems to be hyped up year after year with big expectations, though they usually fall pretty flat. Even under Mack Brown, the seasons usually ended up being a pretty big disappoint, and full disclosure, as an App State alum, I’m very biased and totally a UNC hater.
We’ll see if a flashy hire like this shakes out, but the thing that’s catching the attention of fans this weekend is Jordan’s appearance at the UNC Spring game, where she was seen on the field at Kenan Stadium talking with Bill, and I think helping him put on some sort of microphone, while the team ran drills. It’s definitely not something you’d typically see in terms of a significant other being on the field during actual practice or even scrimmages like this, but this is clearly not the same Bill we all came to know in New England.
This type of event is certainly more casual than a real game, but still, friends and family members just walking around like that, especially when they’ve created so much attention and distraction already with their unique relationship, is just not a good look:

Of course, fans had a field day with the whole thing in the comments, because it really is a shocking thing to see for any high-level college football coach, but especially from him:

Like I said, I’m never expecting the Chapel Hill football team to be that great, but this… I’m not sure this bodes well for their season and there’s seemingly a lot of distraction and strange coaching calls already. Maybe we’ll see her back on the sidelines again as a cheerleader come fall… or you know… on a beach.
