I think dad, fiancée and any other family should probably have just skipped this episode altogether…
The show White Lotus has been making tons of headlines lately with season finale taking place this past weekend, and I’m sure if you’re on TikTok or social media at all, then you’ve heard the Parkey Posey soundbite that starts with “Piper no,” which is a viral sensation with people impressed with her southern accent…
It’s alright, but as a southerner myself, I’m not that impressed. I digress…

One of the most scandalous scenes that’s still making headlines was featured in episode five, where Saxon, played by Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Lochlan, played by Sam Nivola, who are brothers in the show, kiss while high and drunk, at the encouragement of Chloe, played by Charlotte Le Bon.
In episode six, while hangover and trying to piece the night together, the memories flood back and Saxon is initially horrified to remember that he was pleasuring himself in bed next to his brother while Lochlan had sex with Chloe. Disgustingly, he comes to realize that it wasn’t his own hand doing the work… it was his brother. Just gross and an insane thing to put on TV, honestly… but that’s kind of what White Lotus does. It really just holds up a mirror to the elites of society, proving that, in some cases, behind all the money is lot of sadness, shame, insecurity and depravity.
Chloe and Chelsea, played by Aimee Lou Wood, pretty much confirm it all to Saxon at the pool, when he claims that Chloe and Chelsea “forced” the brothers to make out. Chloe tells him that she “didn’t force him to j*** you off,” though obviously being so drunk, Saxon says he doesn’t remember that part because he was blacked out. He starts to think she might just be messing with him, but later, Lochlan recalls it all on his own while meditating with his sister Piper, which pretty much confirms it.
Truly a gross and unnecessary storyline that set the internet ablaze, and even Patrick’s real life dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, made headlines poking fun at the scene, which is weird enough, but apparently his fiancée Abby Champion, wanted to know everything that happened when he first booked the show. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he said he “signed his life away” and couldn’t tell her anything:
“And I’m like, ‘I’m not telling you who dies.’ Like, I signed my life away. Mike [White, The White Lotus creator] will fire me.”
But as a his partner, she also wanted to know if he had any sex scenes, which has a pretty obvious answer, I would think:
“And I was like, ‘Baby, you know The White Lotus. I can’t tell you this information.’ She was like, ‘Just tell me if you get with people.’ And I said, ‘Yes, I do.’ And she was like, ‘Who? Which girls do you get with?’ I was like, ‘I can’t tell you.’ “
Well, once she watched the aforementioned episode, she was relieved to find out is was a guy and not a girl… interesting take, but it’s Hollywood, I guess:
“She was like, ‘You got with your brother?!’ She’s like, ‘You should have told me that way earlier. We would have had no fights.”
The pair got engaged not long before he booked the role on White Lotus, and Charlotte Le Bon, one of the other show’s star, told Vulture recently that the kiss between him and Nivola seemed “really difficult,” adding that it was his “genuine reaction” and they thought he would “throw up”:
“Patrick’s reaction in the episode is his genuine reaction. We all thought he was going to throw up. And Sam was like, ‘It’s fine, it’s just a kiss, calm down.'”
I know they’re actors, but they also became good friends, so even though they were just doing their job, that had to have made it really strange… Hollywood, man. Also, if you’re worried about your handsome actor fiancé (soon to be husband) doing sex scenes, you probably shouldn’t be with an actor. Gonna be plenty more where that came from, girl.
