Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett Under Fire For Calling Wheelchair-Bound Texas Governor, Greg Abbott, “Governor Hot Wheels”

Jasmine Crockett

Leave it to Jasmine Crockett to mock a wheelchair-bound man while speaking at a conference about human rights…

Jasmine Crockett has been a U.S. representative from Texas’s 30th congressional district since January 2023, and is currently one of the “rising stars” in the Democratic party… you know, in the same way that people like AOC are rising stars. They make headlines, but for the most part, are incompetent, activist, morons who rather put on a show than work for the American people.

No stranger to controversy, she recently called for Elon Musk to be “taken down” and for Ted Cruz to be “knocked in the head,” and she also made headlines for distinctly changing her voice once she was elected to Congress.

Check out Pre-Congress Jasmine:

Make no mistake, Crockett is a highly educated, elite St. Louis private school grad, former attorney, who now steers hard into the world of political theater. And her latest comments have her in some deserved hot water.

This past weekend, Crockett spoke at the Human Rights Campaign’s 2025 Los Angeles dinner, referred to the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, as “Governor Hot Wheels. Of course, Governor Abbott became paralyzed in 1984 as the result of a tragic accident… a tree fell on him while he was out jogging. He was 26 years old.

Crockett said:

“We in these hot ass Texas streets, honey. Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there, come on now. And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey.”

Classy…

Of course, the irony here is that the Democratic party is the first to call everybody who disagrees with them “racist, “sexist,” “xenophobic,” and rant about “problematic speech” and
micro-aggressions” and “safe spaces,” and then will openly mock a disabled man like this. It’s just SO on brand for them. SO on brand… Rules for thee but not for me. Can you imagine if this was the other way around and Governor Abbott referred to her with some kind of derogatory, racial nickname? It would be pandemonium in the news media and on Capitol Hill.

Needless to say, the comment garnered a ton of backlash from people on X, but not so much in the actual news media.

Governor Abbott himself has yet to comment on insult.
