Florida Man strikes again.
You can always count on Florida Man to get you out of a sticky situation. Florida Man is truly a Renaissance man; from household tasks like protecting his house from a hurricane by putting ratchet straps over his roof, to removing snakes from inside toilets, Florida Man can really do it all.
However, Florida Man shines brightest when he is capturing wild animals. While most of Florida Man’s wildlife interactions involve alligators or snakes (see example below):
This latest spotting involves wild boars. Outdoor influencer Nina Rogers posted a video of Florida Man doing what Florida Man does best: capturing an animal with his bare hands.
After a hunt, Nina was on with a South Florida guide; they were taking images of the game they brought home after a long day’s work when a small boar was near them. The group got quiet as the boar rolled in the marshy land and scavenged for food. The boar was wandering closer to the group when, all of a sudden, it spotted one man from the hunting group crouched down in the grass.
The boar locks in and begins to charge toward the man. Don’t let the small size of this animal fool you; they are mean creatures. Thankfully, Florida Man was there to save the day.
Florida man ran after the boar, hooking him by its legs and stopping it dead in its tracks. With one quick move, Florida Man then flips the animal onto its back so that it cannot wiggle loose or continue to try and run toward the first man.
Nina was in shock capturing this footage on camera, noting:
“In all my years of hunting, I have never seen anything like this. We were taking photos of a successful hunt and this sow came all the way up to us! Watch this unfold.”
A gun appears to be handed to one person in the group to take out the boar before the video cuts out. That’s one way to kill a boar…

Florida Man might be a character at times, but in times like this Florida Man is the hero.
