I can confidently say that writing about Mike Ryan’s bare chest was not on my bingo card for the year, but I will admit it’s nice to be blogging about women lusting over someone who isn’t Riley Green or Zach Top for once. It’s all about perspective, you know?
The San Antonio native, Mike Ryan, has been a staple in the Texas country music scene for more than a decade. He has four studio records out, with his most recent project, Longcut, showcasing his rowdy Texas twang. Ryan made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023, and while he’s no stranger to Texans and those in surrounding stages who are dialed into the scene, it was a breakout moment for Ryan, casting his net to a broader listening group of country music fans.
As someone who resides in the Lone Star state, I am very familiar with Ryan’s music and his signature move, where he seductively unbuttons his shirt on stage with a mini strip tease. However, I often forget that he’s not an artist who’s constantly being posted on social media at this moment. So you can imagine my surprise when I was scrolling on TikTok and saw a video of Mike Ryan’s mid-strip tease, with Taylor Swift’s “…Ready For It?” playing in the background. It felt like a full-on Chippendales moment.
After reading a few comment sections, it’s clear that Mike Ryan has the Rip Wheeler effect, and women love his big, bare, hairy chest. Things really heated up in this viral moment when Ryan pulled his belt out of his jeans for a dramatic striptease.
