I mean, it’s a football game…
On Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs to become Super Bowl LIX champions, and let’s just say, Taylor Swift, nor her fans, or boyfriend Travis Kelce, are taking the loss very well.
Taylor had a prime spot in a suite during the game, which included other celebrities like Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone, as well as some of Travis’ family. Though fans inside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans were less than thrilled when they showed her on the jumbotron during the game… she got booed pretty good:

I’ve heard a lot of TV people and podcasters say it was a Philly-heavy crowd in terms of fans, so obviously the booing had more to do with the fact that she was cheering for the Chiefs than it did with politics or anything else, but who knows… maybe it was some of both. Eagles fans are known for being relentless. Hell, Eli Manning once famously said it’s the only place in the NFL where you’ll get double middle fingers from a little kid.
“Go to Philly and you’re getting the double bird right away from a 9 year old kid.”
While I’m sure he was mostly distracted by the game, according to the Daily Mail, a source says Travis was aware of it and “felt helpless” and that it “broke his heart”:
“After Taylor being shut out for a Grammy and Travis losing the biggest game of the year it just hasn’t been a good week for them. But he knows that even though this is not a happy ending to the season having her love gives him so much joy. Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless.
Seeing the look on her face got to him. He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.
It’s clear to many that the Eagles fans feel she is a traitor of sorts – being from Pennsylvania and even wearing Eagles gear prior to dating him. Travis believes that it was unnecessary for Trump to take a dig at her especially after he voiced that he was honored for a president to be there.”
Well, I can’t blame them for that… she is a traitor, and she did used to be an Eagles fan, so I think they have every right to boo her. She seemed to take it pretty well, and I’m sure the billionaire is way more upset about her boyfriend losing than being booed by some bros from Philly who are made she switched teams.
Either way, it’s been a bad week for the couple all-around, from Taylor losing all the Grammy’s she was nominated for and Travis losing the Super Bowl in pretty embarrassing fashion. Plus, this stadium walk of shame?
Personally, I’m leaving this sparkly disco suit in the trash if I just got the belt-to-ass like that.
