Got ’em.
Everything’s going pretty well for ol’ Bill Belichick these days. The legendary NFL coach has a new gig, deciding to take his first college football job at the University of North Carolina…oh, and he’s also got a 24-year old girlfriend.
The 72-year old coach’s new girlfriend is Jordon Hudson, a former cheerleader…and if you’re bad at math, that means Belichick is 48 years older than his new romantic partner. (Just for context, Belichick became head coach of the Patriots in 2000 – the year Hudson was born).
The couple reportedly met on a flight in 2021 where they exchanged information and kept in contact by discussing things like her school work and cheerleading routines. (Wouldn’t you love to hear Bill Belichick talking to a 20-something year old about cheerleading? That had to have been an incredible conversation).
Needless to say, their relationship has been the subject of plenty of jokes, especially when he decided he was going to join the college coaching ranks…

And the jokes were flying again tonight as Belichick attended the NFL Honors ceremony with Hudson by his side, with the 24-year old even spotted wearing one of his Super Bowl rings as they walked the red carpet.

Snoop Dogg served as the host for the event. And once the ceremony got started, even Snoop couldn’t help but take a not-so-subtle jab at the couple’s age gap during his opening monologue:
“I’ve been a football fan for a long, long time. I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good. I remember when the Chiefs was bad. And I remember, what was it, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.”

Got ’em good.
Hudson was clearly shocked by the joke, and Belichick mustered up a slight grin, which is pretty much all you’ll ever get out of him anyway. But looking at some of the others in the crowd, you could tell that Snoop was just saying exactly what everybody else was thinking.
It was the best part of the monologue, and it may be the only time Snoop is asked to host the show after he threw even more fire onto the conspiracy (if you can call it a conspiracy) that the NFL and the referees are biased towards the Kansas City Chiefs:
“This is an incredible Super Bowl matchup, between the Eagles and the refs.”
Gotta think Goodell isn’t going to be happy about that one.
Overall, it seemed like people weren’t really impressed with Snoop’s monologue and didn’t think it was all that funny. He took a shot at the Cincinnati Bengals defense that didn’t really seem to go over well with quarterback Joe Burrow, and some other pretty lame jokes about the Commanders finally being good again, Sam Darnold’s resurgence, and a joke about Josh Allen being the only white contender for NFL MVP.
But then again, these monologues are never really funny anyway and are usually just corny jokes that don’t really push the limits too much. Unlike Belichick, who’s pushing the limits on the age of consent…
