Got the deer and the girl.
I imagine this isn’t exactly every girls dream proposal scenario, but it definitely worked out for Colton Adams, who shared a pretty neat video on Instagram that has now gone viral. The West Monroe, Louisiana, deer hunter proposed to his girlfriend Karley and then immediately harvested a deer seconds after he slipped the ring on her finger.
Caught on a camera, Colton says he propped up beforehand knowing he was planning to propose, you see him get down on one knee in the video, with a rifle on his shoulder, and ask Karley to marry him, then stand up and put the ring on her finger. The two hug and kiss, and then he notices a deer has wondered directly into his line of sight.
Of course, he immediately gets his gun ready, and fires off a perfect freehanded shot, which somehow all timed out perfectly… and the fact that he was able to capture it all on camera… that’s even better. I’m not sure anyone would’ve believed it had there been no footage or proof.

Karley seemed excited for both the ring and the deer, which bodes well for their future. I think he found himself a keeper.
Karley followed up the viral video with a picture of the ring:
“EEK!! You’re telling me I get to marry my best friend?! And we get to be together forever?! Life couldn’t get any happier.”
