Nashville Goes Into Panic Mode When Jim Cantore Shows Up On Broadway Ahead Of Winter Storm Cora

Buckle up Nashville… there’s a big storm coming.

Am I referring to the four to eight inches of snow that’s supposed to hit the Music City when I say storm? Sort of. What I actually meant was the storm of anxiety and chaos that comes with The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore visiting a city. When Jim Cantore shows up, you know sh*t is about to go down.

Nashville is set to get hit by Winter Storm Cora – a weather system that is expected to move through much of the southern United States from now through the weekend. It’s set to leave behind freezing rain, ice, and plenty of snow, depending on how far south you go. For Nashville, it’s looking like it’s going to get mostly snow – and a lot of it.

Jim Cantore looks to be setting up shop right on Broadway (I hope he goes to Robert’s or AJ’s Good Time Bar), and he had this to say earlier today during a quick weather report that laid out what residents in Music City can expect in the coming days:

“Good morning from Music City here in Nashville, Tennessee. We are expecting all snow… anywhere between three and seven inches. Just depending on how things set up.

Even after the event ends, we expect areas like Nashville to warm and thaw during the day – a little bit – and then refreeze at night. So (residents of Nashville) starting out their day, it could be quite icy all the way through to the middle to end of next week.”

Can’t imagine how many bachelorette parties are being ruined by Winter Storm Cora.

“You didn’t get trip insurance Lauren? You have to be kidding me! Are we going to get the deposit back on the pedal tavern we paid for? No? Just great… and now we’ve got all these White Claws to drink and no boujee, overpriced AirBnB to drink them in.”

Needless to say, the appearance of Jim Cantore in Nashville has frightened some residents. It’s pretty well known that the Can-Man (I just made that up, maybe it’ll stick) only goes to locations that are getting hit the hardest with weather – whatever weather that might be. So people are freaking out online, and it’s hilarious:
