Every Song Featured On The ‘Landman’ Soundtrack… So Far

Landman Billy Bob Thornton
Paramount+

Landman might be the hottest show in the country right now.

The latest series from Paramount Network’s billion dollar boy, Taylor Sheridan, Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace and more for an action-packed, West Texas, big oil drama that has captured the hearts of the American television audience.

If you’re not familiar, think Yellowstone but instead of cowboys and ranching, it’s big oil. Either way, people are LOVING it.

Here’s a quick look at the trailer:

Personally, I find the show pretty entertaining, I find the mother and daughter pretty insufferable, and I’m a big Jon Hamm fan ever since Mad Men, but arguably my highest degree of praise comes from the soundtrack. Much like Yellowstone, the soundtrack features some of the best in country music, particularly from the Texas scene, the independent scene, a few of the modern-day Appalachian greats like Ian Noe and Charles Wesley Godwin. It’s simply fantastic.

If you haven’t given Landman a shot yet, Paramount+ offers a 7 day free trial, so you could get up to speed and cancel before getting charged, but I’m betting once you see everything on there (including Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923, live sports, and Tulsa King) you’ll realize it’s easy to get your money’s worth and stick around.

The show is 8 episodes in at the moment, airing every Sunday on Paramount+, so here’s a quick and dirty overview of the phenomenal soundtrack so far:
