Evan Honer is closing out his stellar 2024 with the release of a new EP.
2024 was Evan Honer’s breakout year. Kicking off the year with the release of his single “Nowhere Fast,” he followed that up with a stellar duet with Wyatt Flores, “Take Me As I Am.” However, those two items were just the first off the laundry list of new music Honer would release throughout 2024.
In June, Honer released his highly anticipated sophomore record, Fighting For, proving that he is here to stay with his vulnerable songwriting and soothing vocal delivery. The prolific songwriting on the record caught the eye of other respected industry artists, leading Honer to reimagine a single off the album, “Mr. Meyers,” with Charles Wesley Godwin.

Even with all that work, Evan Honer was not done for the year. He wanted to bookend this stellar year with one last project, his latest EP, Annabelle.
Today, the EP dropped, which features two new songs, including three previously released singles, “Me, Without You,” “Lead Role,” and “High School Reunion.”
While we familiarized ourselves with three songs off the EP before its release, the remaining two highlight Honer’s ability to express deep feelings through his lyrics, the final song on the EP, “Happy In The End,” highlights a crescendo of emotions as Honer comes to all of these realizations about the relationship, blaming himself some but ultimately hoping his former lover still finds happiness without him.
This EP is a concept with the same overarching message intertwined through the lyrics of each track. It’s a story of Annabelle through and through.
