Your 2025 Under The Big Sky Festival lineup is here.
Over the years, the Whitefish, Montana, festival has been pulling country music fans nationwide as they put on a three-day event filled with some of country music’s best. Under The Big Sky is your festival if you want to avoid a festival that smells like Nashville country.
Taking place at Big Mountain Ranch, the festival features some of the best outlaw country, folk, bluegrass, Americana, and rock acts on the scene right now while also sprinkling in a good deal of up-and-comers you need to keep your eye on.
After last year’s lineup, which included Billy Strings, the Turnpike Troubadours, Sierra Ferrell, Zach Top, Charles Wesley Godwin, Tanner Usrey, Muscadine Bloodline, and more, I frankly was not sure how they would top that stellar list of artists. But to my surprise, they, once again, have put together an outstanding list of performers for 2025’s lineup.
Your 2024 Under The Big Sky headliners are Tyler Childers, the Red Clay Strays, and Mumford & Sons. But the party is just getting started there because the long list of other acts is out of this world.
Wynnona Judd, Shane Smith & the Saints, Oliver Anthony, Dylan Gossett, Wyatt Flores, Luke Grimes, Whitey Morgan and the 78s, Noeline Hofmann, Brent Cobb, Willow Avalon, Town Mountain, Corb Lund, Hailey Whitters and more are set to take the stage.
“The 2025 lineup has arrived!
Join us at Big Mountain Ranch for an unforgettable 3-day weekend with the return of the Appalachian powerhouse Tyler Childers — plus six-time Grammy-nominated folk-rock superstars Mumford & Sons, & high-energy Southern rockers The Red Clay Strays.
Mark your calendars for July 18th, 19th, and 20th, when the rodeo and roundup returns…”
As mentioned in the Instagram caption, Under the Big Sky is more than a music festival. It also features a rodeo, an art show, a petting zoo, trail rides, and other activities for attendees to enjoy.
The SMS Presale starts on Thursday, November 21st, at noon MT, with general tickets on sale the following day, Friday, November 22nd, at noon MT. Tickets for this festival always move fast, so be sure to secure them while you can. With a stacked lineup, one can only assume they will sell out.
While you’re here, check out some of the fun from last year’s festival. It’s a boot-scootin’ good time.
