This man just doesn’t stop.
While some fans have been familiar with Nolan Taylor for years from his local presence and YouTube virality on RadioWV and GemsOnVHS, he really didn’t begin releasing music in a consistent manner until March 2023. Shortly thereafter, Taylor signed a deal with Atlantic Records, and with multiple EPs and nearly a dozen singles hitting streaming platforms ever since, it’s safe to say that he has become one of the more prolific writers in the scene.
Less than a month removed from his previous release “Holding On” in mid-October, and freshly off of his tour supporting Benjamin Tod’s Lost Dog Street Band, Taylor is already back up to his typical antics with the release of another incredibly heartfelt and emotionally moving single. Titled “Love Until We Die,” Taylor’s latest track finds himself in as vulnerable a position as ever, focusing on a situation in which he, or the narrator at least, falls in love yet finds themselves unworthy of the other’s affection. Cleverly written and powerfully delivered, Taylor’s innate ability to to write sensitive songs that convey the harsh realities so many of this genre’s listeners resonate with is precisely the reason he has had so much success lately. And for good reason.
Without further ado, check out Nolan Taylor’s brand new single “Love Until We Die” below:
“I told you when we started out I might not make it through
I’ve broken everyone I’ve loved and I can’t do that to you
I thought that I was over this, but here we go again
Creeping in like kudzu vines and I can’t get rid of it”
If sad music makes you happy then you’ve come to the right place, because there’s plenty more where that came from.
