Is there a more likeable dude out there than Post Malone?
Regardless of how you feel about his recent country album F1-Trillion, there’s no denying that Post Malone seems like one of the nicest guys on the planet. He’s always smiling, always positive, and always seems to take time to chat with friends and fans alike. It’s just impossible not to like the guy, even if you don’t like his music.
And if you need more proof, just check out his interaction with a young fan battling brain cancer at one of his shows.
Five-year-old Ava has been battling pilocytic astrocytoma, a type of brain cancer, since 2021. Over that time, she’s undergone chemotherapy and unfortunately lose her vision. But she hasn’t lost her love for Post Malone.
So when Ava had the chance to see Posty in concert recently, she brought along a message for the superstar on a t-shirt hoping to get his attention. And it worked.
When Post saw the shirt, which said that Ava’s make a wish is to meet the singer, he immediately accepted the offer:
“Come up to the front, ladies and gentlemen, we’ll sign that shirt. And f*ck cancer.”

Well true to his word, Posty did more than sign the shirt. After the show, the superstar took time to meet with Ava as soon as he came offstage. And it’s one of the most heartwarming things you’ll see all day.
Far from just greeting her and signing her shirt, which I’m sure would have been enough to make any fan’s day, Post sat down on the ground and invited Ava to sit down beside him as the two chatted it up.
Her parents told Post that while going through chemo at only two years old, rather than listening to Elmo she wanted to listen to Post Malone. (And Post hilariously responded, “Well Elmo fell off kinda.”)
You could tell she was a little starstruck, but pretty soon Ava and Posty were chatting like old friends as they discussed their favorite music, Bluey, and even their matching crocs.
The whole thing was adorable, and really shows what a kind and gentle soul Post Malone really is. The world needs more superstars like him, regardless of what kind of music they’re making.
