Not living this down anytime soon.

Maren Morris fans are not letting go of her major wardrobe malfunction this summer, and I’m living for it. This summer, Morris learned the hard lesson of checking the wearability of her stage clothes after sporting a long denim skirt that was anything but modest.

The skirt with an extra high slit, and as she strolled across the stage, the audience got an NSFW view of her nude undergarments… thank God for her, she was wearing some. Since the 4th of July Picnic wardrobe malfunction, Morris has tried to make light out of the situation, reacting to it by playing Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” (which was an interesting choice for a response) and noting that the skirt is now “iconic” because of it’s viral moment.

I don’t know about “iconic,” but whatever…

While Morris is trying to make light of the embarrassing situation and attempting to move on, her fans are not letting her live the moment down. And I must admit, this is a pretty hilarious move on her listeners’ part.

While some fans will send their favorite artists letters or DM them multiple times to get their attention, this fan cracked the code for a surefire way to be noticed. Send your favorite artist merch of a moment that they will never let down. One of her fans custom-made a shirt for the “Get The Hell Out Of Here” singer, with the infamous clothing item plastered front and center.

The slit of the garment is extra emphasized on the shirt, making dang sure others recognize what it’s from.

“You guys are getting out of hand with the jokes. One of you had this little number made.”

She says, zooming in on the shirt as she wears it in a green room.

“This will haunt me forever, thank you.”

Am I the only one surprised she thinks this will haunt her? What about her back-and-forth statements on leaving and not leaving country music? I think a wardrobe malfunction should fall pretty low on the list of headlines Maren Morris sees on a weekly basis.

Regardless, I am sure stylists and PR teams everywhere are conducting crazy wear tests on their artists’ stage outfits before approving them for use after this.
