Save a horse?
Earlier today, Riley Green and Ella Langley stepped back in time for the music video of their hit duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.” In the old-timey visual, Langley portrays a singer/performer in a Wild Western saloon, and a cowboy (Riley Green) catches her eye as he walks into the bar.
Langley, who also co-directed the video, approaches Green and reverses the traditional role of a boy pursuing a girl. The storyline, the costumes, and the setting of this video are all perfect, and as we said earlier, it is one of the best music videos we have seen in a hot minute.
While I am sure there are men out there lusting after Ella Langley in her corset and vampy eye makeup, Riley Green has been attacked in the comments for his looks (in a good way). Riley Green is no stranger to women throwing themselves at him, with many sliding into his DMs, throwing undergarments at him on stage, and, of course, thirsting over him in the comments section of his posts.
Sadly, ladies, Riley Green told the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast that someone else handles his socials, and he hardly looks at them.
However, Green’s most recent post has men and women filling the comments section after he shared some behind-the-scenes images from the video shoot. I must admit Riley Green’s cowboy look is a vibe.
From his hair messily peaking out from under his black felt hat, the slightly dirtied clothes, and his sitting on horseback is giving bad boy meets ‘Yellowstone.’ It’s like Ryan Bingham’s character on the hit Western show. People in the comments are suggesting Taylor Sheridan should perhaps consider casting the country star in one of his shows. He does a knock-out job acting in the video, so maybe an acting crossover isn’t entirely off the table.
Check out some of my favorite notes left under the post; his fans never disappoint me.
“Yellowstone is looking for the next Costner.”
“I feel like saving a horse.”
“So over this song but never you.”
“Who needs a knight in shining armor when you have a cowboy in dusty boots.”
“Easy, Arthur Morgan.”
“You just might get a call from Taylor Sheridan for his next show after this photoshoot.”
“My ole lady is on this app, chilllllll Riley.”
“I do. I do look like I love you.”
“Okay, I get it.”
You might as well fire up the music video while you’re here and see Riley Green in action. It’s well worth the few minutes.
