While Fort Worth is known for great red dirt music, rodeos, killer BBQ, and stellar shopping in the Stockyards, on August 22nd, it will be home to one of the most important pageants held—not Miss America or Miss USA.
The Miss Hooters International Pageant.
And what better place to crown the next Miss Hooters than at the World’s Largest Honky Tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas. Today, the dance hall and bar shared that they are the selected location for this year’s pageant, as it moved from Las Vegas to Texas.
“JUST ANNOUNCED! Miss Hooters International Pageant is headed to the World’s Largest Honky Tonk on Thursday, August 22.”
The 27th Annual Miss Hooters Pagent brings the best Hooters girls from around the nation to compete for the crown. While this might seem like a way to see some pretty girls, the women competing are bringing their A-game as the winner gets $30,000, along with being highlighted in promotional campaigns all year. In the official press release from the restaurant organization, they note:
“The 2024 pageant will showcase the world’s most gorgeous Hooters Girls vying for the coveted Miss Hooters International crown and a $30,000 grand prize. Miss Hooters International 2024 will play an active role in Hooters marketing and promotional campaigns over the next year, making appearances on traditional and social media platforms as well as Hooters special events and domestic and international openings. The Hooters Girls contending for the title were selected from more than 18,000 Hooters Girls employed by Hooters restaurants worldwide.”
Tickets for the event go on sale Thursday, August 8th, at 10 AM CST.
Last year, Emily Johnson of Florida was crowned the 2023 Miss Hooters International winner at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. She made a statement noting how incredible the last year serving as the face of the restaurant was and how she is looking forward to passing down the crown to the next winner.
“It’s been an incredible honor to hold the title of Miss Hooters International 2023. After an amazing year-long reign, I know how much this title means. The women competing this year are truly remarkable, and I am excited to welcome the newest member to this elite group.
I look forward to seeing her represent the brand and nearly half a million Hooters Girls alumnae worldwide.”
