If you’re not listening to Joe Stamm yet, consider this your wake up call.

The Illinois-based country/rock artist has been grinding within the scene for over a decade at this point, and as a result, has forged his own unique sound self proclaimed as “Black Dirt” country. With a rapidly growing fan base and the utmost respect from every artist with whom Stamm has crossed paths, it’s just been a matter of time until his music broke through to a more national stage.

Well, I think that time has come, hopefully, with Stamm’s most recent release. Comprised of four incredibly impressive brand new tunes, the Allegheny EP is a must listen for any fan of country music, as it showcases Stamm’s deft lyricism and features intricate instrumentation that is bound to resonate with fans everywhere. And it sure doesn’t hurt that he employed the talents of The Allegheny High to bring this to life, either.

“I hand-picked these songs specially for Charles and the Allegheny High, and I’m just grateful they took some time away from world domination to work ’em up with me. They’re truly some of the good guys, and I think they’re the best out there doing it right now.”

That’s right, country music superstar Charles Wesley Godwin’s backing band, The Allegheny High, lent their talents to Stamm for this EP, and the result did not disappoint. Godwin is even featured on one of the tracks himself. Check it out for yourself below:

Joe Stamm first released music in the summer of 2018 with his debut single “First Saw you.” In the years since, the budding artist has released a handful of singles along with an amazing live album Stories: Live & Unplugged. He and his crew have a handful of tour dates already announced for this spring and summer, and I highly recommend catching a show if he’s coming near your city.
