The Internet Is Destroying A Woman Who Said Fishing Sensation Hannah Barron’s Southern Accent Isn’t “Feminine”

Guess she’s finding out what happens when you mess with a lady in the south…

If you’re not familiar with Hannah Barron, the Alabama native has built up a massive following with her fishing content, earning the nickname “The Catfish Girl” for her impressive noodling videos while also bagging some impressive deer out in the woods too.

I mean, what’s not to love?

Well apparently one woman has a problem with Hannah’s southern accent (she’s from Alabama, after all), and took to Twitter (or X) to complain about it:

“This accent needs to be illegal and women should be banned from doing manual labour like this. There is NOTHING feminine about American women. American women are literally men.”

That’s certainly a…take.

Of course there are millions of men (and women) who would disagree. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything hotter than a girl with a southern accent, but I’m also from the south so I may be a little biased.

There were plenty of people online who agreed with me though, and the internet quickly jumped in to defend Hannah and her accent:

Brutal.

Keep on keepin’ on, Hannah. Looks like the internet’s on your side.
