Yesterday, the Philadelphia Eagles capped off a brutal end of the season with a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card round.
After starting off the season 10-1, the Eagles finished the season a brutal 1-5, one of the worst collapses we’ve seen in quite some time.
Of course, the Eagles were without star wide receiver AJ Brown last night, and quarterback Jalen Hurts was nowhere close to 100% healthy, but a blowout loss in the first round of the playoffs was just icing on the cake to an already disappointing season after making it to the Super Bowl last year.
So, considering Eagles fans are absolutely ruthless, and are some of the most entitled fans in all of the NFL (for no reason), they’ve been calling for everybody’s head.
This includes head coach Nick Sirianni, the guy who has led the team to three straight playoff appearances, and the Eagles’ first Super Bowl birth since their magical 2017 run.
Seriously, I’ve been seeing “fire Sirianni” stuff all over social media all day, acting like they weren’t three points away from winning a Super Bowl last year with this exact same coaching staff and team.
And to sum up Eagles fans feelings towards the disastrous end to the season, this video is the perfect example.
Video was taken of an Eagles fan in a Haason Reddick jersey, and another in a LeSean McCoy jersey, tossing a full bucket of popcorn on Sirianni’s head as he was walking to the locker room after the game.
And of course, once the guy realized he f*cked up, he tucked his tail and started running up the steps to try to avoid security.
That’s when the security tracked him down before he could get too far ahead.
Now it’s uncertain what repercussions these guys faced, but I think it’s safe to say they f*cked around and found out.
