Every year, People Magazine does a list of who they believe are the “Sexiest Men Alive.”
And of course, they also have one ultimate winner grace the cover of the print magazine, and back in 2017, it was country music’s own Blake Shelton.
The always-funny Blake said back then that he thought the publication:
“Must be running out of people.”
And at the time, people were pretty harsh about it, with many questioning why he was placed among the ranks of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Michael B. Jordan, David Beckham, and others.
And over on Twitter, pop culture account @PopCrave posted a list of all of the men who have been bestowed the “Sexiest Man Alive” title over the past 10 years, as the 2023 winner will be revealed this evening on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
It features all of the aforementioned men, as well as Idris Elba, Paul Rudd, John Legend, Dwayne Johnson, Adam Levine, and of course, Blake:
And as pretty much happens every time this comes up, the comments section went wild, with people once again roasting the decision to call Blake the “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2017.
I mean, the poor guy can’t catch a break… I don’t think he’ll ever live it down.
But, the man is married to Gwen Stefani now, so I don’t think he’s too concerned with what strangers on the internet have to say about his looks.
In my opinion, he got the last laugh, so to speak, but these comments are still pretty damn funny (and there’s plenty more like it if you click on that tweet):
