Looks like Rip is more than just a cowboy.

Yellowstone fans have been anxiously awaiting any updates on the resumption of the most popular show on TV since the mid-season 5 hiatus, and while there hasn’t been much beyond continued drama surrounding Kevin Costner’s contract, it looks like fan favorite actor Cole Hauser has decided to venture into a new business in his spare time.

According to GoSanAngelo, Cole made an appearance at the grand opening of Free Rein Coffee Company yesterday, which was founded around the work ethic, morals, and toughness of cowboy life.

In a post made to the company’s Instagram page, Hauser gave some of the backstory for why he wanted to enter this venture:

“I’ve grown up around cowboys my whole life. And I can tell you, there’s nobody on earth who works harder.

I’m proud to announce that I’ve decided to start a coffee company inspired by these men and women who wake up before the dawn. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard.

Free Rein is for anyone who gets up and works like a cowboy, gets up and chases a dream, or gets up and just feels like having a damn good cup of coffee.

So get up and get after it. Dreams don’t work unless you do.”

Looks like Rip Wheeler started this company, not Cole Hauser:

The company is located at the former home of small-batch roaster Longhorn Coffee Co, who had been roasting coffee in that location for over 25 years before Hauser bought it.

6 different blends are offered, each with cowboy inspired named such as “American Dirt”, “Heavy Spur”, and “Homestead”, each with a unique flavor profile for all types of coffee lovers.

As a coffee nut myself, I think I’ll be ordering a few bags to try out…
