Cody Johnson has been announced as the third headliner for the 2024 Gulf Coast Jam festival, joining previously-announced headliners Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll.

CoJo will take the stage Saturday, June 1 for the 12th annual festival, which takes place in Panama City Beach, Florida. The four day festival will run from May 31 – June 2, 2024.

Speaking on Cody, executive producer of Gulf Coast Jam Rendy Lovelady praised the energy that the cowboy-turned-country star brings to the stage:

“Cody’s live shows are legendary, and our Jammers are going to lose their minds when he hits the stage. He’s one of the hottest artists in music, and he’s definitely earned his slot as a headliner.”

And he’s definitely not wrong. I saw Cody live for the first time a few weeks ago, and he absolutely blew me away. As big of a fan as I was before, I walked away an even bigger fan after seeing the absolutely electric performance he puts on.

Cody also released a new single, “The Painter,” today, the first from his upcoming 24-track double album Leather set to be released this fall.

The festival previously announced that Morgan Wallen would be headlining Gulf Coast Jam on Sunday, June 2 after the superstar had to cancel his appearance this year due to doctor-ordered vocal rest.

And with Jelly Roll’s star rising by the day, this is shaping up to be one hell of a lineup already. Oh, and Cody also mentioned recently that he would like to collaborate with Jelly Roll, so maybe while they’re in town together they’ll be able to get together and make it happen…

Of course, I don’t really need an excuse to go to the beach, but if you do, this seems like a pretty good one.
