Polaris Adventures Provides The Perfect Way To Explore All That Nashville Has To Offer

There are plenty of ways to get around Nashville these days.

Drive through downtown Music City and you’ll see pedal taverns and party buses loaded down with bachelorettes and partygoers of all ages, dancing and singing along to Shania Twain and Luke Combs as they navigate the streets of Nashville.

There are fire trucks, tractor wagons, pontoon boats, monster trucks and double decker buses that will drive you all over Music City and help make your trip to Nashville fun and memorable.

But I think I may have found my new favorite way to experience all that Nashville has to offer: Polaris Adventures.

Polaris Adventures is the destination-riding and rental service from powersports leader Polaris that offers unique riding experiences for all skill levels. They offer adventure seekers the opportunity to take part in guided or self-guided rides on a variety of vehicles, including ATVs, side-by-sides, Slingshots, motorcycles, snowmobiles and pontoon boats.

And they recently hooked us up with the opportunity to explore Nashville in a brand new Polaris Slingshot to have our own outdoor adventure during CMA Fest.

We picked up our Slingshot at RevRide Nashville, located right on Broadway near downtown Nashville. And not only were they easy to work with and incredible in helping us get up and running, but they also had a variety of Slingshots to choose from.

After getting fitted for our helmets and getting a quick introduction to the vehicle, we were off to start our adventure.

With the wind in our faces and the country music turned up on the radio, we started out on Music Row. It was easy to get the hang of driving the Slingshot, which comes in both automatic and manual versions and handled even better than I expected, even on tight roads like the famous 16th Avenue.

Once we had the hang of it, we decided to take the Slingshot down into the heart of the CMA Fest action in downtown Nashville. Driving past the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Walk of Fame, we definitely got a few glances from the sidewalk as people watched us roll by in our unique ride.

We then headed over to Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, to check out where all of the action would be later that night.

After that, we decided to head away from downtown, taking the adventure away from the hustle and bustle of CMA Fest and enjoy some of the outdoors on a beautiful Nashville day.

As we hit the interstate, the power of the Slingshot was obvious – but so was the way it perfectly handled the higher speeds as we headed off towards Percy Priest Lake, about 20 minutes away from the action of downtown Nashville.

The lake provided the perfect backdrop for a more scenic afternoon ride, and the Slingshot was the perfect way to experience the outdoors from the comfort of our vehicle. We stopped to talk to a group taking their boat out of the water, curious about our vehicle for the day and where they could get one for themselves. The Slingshot was quite the conversation starter wherever we went.

And before we knew it, our adventure was about to come to an end. But we had to make one more stop on our trip: The Grand Ole Opry.

As pulled around to the back entrance of the Opry, the security guard came out of the guard shack to admire our Slingshot. And when we pulled up to the artist entrance, country music legend Bill Anderson even glanced our way to check out the vehicle before more folks began to come out of the Opry House to admire the Slingshot. Seems like it would be a great way for an artist to arrive for their performance in style.

With that our adventure unfortunately came to an end, as we had to return the Slingshot and go back to our boring regular vehicle.

But one thing’s clear from the whole experience: Polaris Adventures provides the perfect opportunity to explore all that Nashville has to offer.
