Paige Spiranac Says She’s Proud Of The Platform She’s Built: “My Career Has Become A ‘F*ck You’ To Everyone”

Paige Spiranac

It’s no secret that Paige Spiranac has built a name for herself as the most popular golf influencer on the planet.

The former pro golfer turned model and influencer has ruled social media over the past couple of years with sexy pictures, golf lessons, and hilarious videos, and her platform continues to grow more and more as we speak.

She has essentially paved the way for number of young women to follow in her footsteps, bridging the gap between sports, modeling and content creation.

With that being said, Spiranac, who boasts nearly four million Instagram followers, recently sat down with Golf Digest to discuss her mind boggling growth, as well as how she’s grown as a person throughout her rise to fame.

She told the outlet:

“My career has become a ‘f*ck you’ to everyone.

It’s been powerful to walk into a room knowing the platform I’ve built and the influence I have, and it’s not just because of my body; it’s my brain, who I am as a person, the whole package.

I never wanted to be an influencer. Now I’ve become so influential they can’t ignore me.”

The 30-year old continued:

“It’s meant to be fun. I created this alter ego where I show the most silly, exaggerated version of myself.”

She also admitted that her rise to fame has helped her grow as a confident person:

“I have been at the lowest lows in my life, been self-conscious and uncomfortable, hated the skin I was in, and I never once looked at someone online and was like, You know what, I’m going to knock them down.”

And at the end of day, Spiranac says her main goal is to make golf more enticing to everyone, breaking down barriers that were set well before her:

“At the end of the day, most people will never get to play Pebble Beach or Augusta National.

We should bring golf down a couple notches, make it approachable for people who don’t have endless income to spend on a hobby.

I want to make people happy.”
