Go Behind The Scenes Of Kolby Cooper’s Grand Ole Opry Debut

Kolby Cooper country music

Man, I can’t imagine how incredible it must feel to know you’ve worked and worked to achieve success as a singer/songwriter, and it ultimately leads you to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, the greatest stage in all of country music… where so many greats have played before.

Kolby Cooper recently got to experience this for himself, making his official at the Grand Ole Opry.

As a Kolby Cooper fan over the past four years, its been insane watching the guy go from becoming a Texas country powerhouse, to inking a deal with BBR Music Group in Nashville and becoming a household name.

And needless to say, the 23-year-old couldn’t be more grateful, as it’s easy to see on his Grand Ole Opry debut video.

In the video, you can see Cooper walking the halls of the iconic building alongside his wife and two daughters, as he talks about how his two biggest dreams growing up were to play country music and be a father.

He also discusses why he chose to perform the song “Stars Fall down,” where he explains the story of how he and his family got to where they’re at today:

“Me and my wife, we graduated in 2017. We were best friends from fourth grade until senior year and senior year we started dating, whole thing, graduated and got pregnant, and we were pregnant at 18. Had our first daughter at 19, and got married.

You know music didn’t really seem like it was going to be an option for a minute, because it was like I’m 19, my wife’s 19, we have a day old baby… maybe not the best idea.

But instead, 10 days before Josie was born is our official start date when we started playing full time full shows, two-three shows a week, and here we are now. It proves I guess hard works pays off.”

Amen.
