You love to see it.

Lainey Wilson officially scored her third career #1 single on country radio, as “Heart Like a Truck” topped the country charts this past weekend.

It took the top spot on Mediabase, which is one of two radio charts labels use to officially track their songs performance (along with the Billboard Country Airplay chart):

From Lainey’s fourth studio album Bell Bottom Country, it was produced by Jay Joyce and written by Lainey, Trannie Anderson and Dallas Wilson.

The song finds Lainey taking a real and honest look in the mirror, as she comes to terms with the fact that she’s not perfect and that’s okay…

Actually, it’s more than okay, and just like your grandpa’s trusty old pickup, most of us know deep down that the dents and scratches from years of wear only adds character.

Lainey shared a little bit about what having another #1 means to her, also thanking the fans for their support of the song and her music career as a whole:

“‘Heart Like A Truck’ is the #1 song on country radio this week 🥹

I gotta say…it feels pretty dang good to hear that news, but it feels even better hearing the magic of what that means night after night on the road when y’all sing it back to me.

Country radio, thank you for all of your support for me, my career, and this song. I love y’all ❤️🛻”

She is such a gem, and it’s so refreshing to have such an authentic, talented country artist cranking out hits like she has been over the last year or so.

Her song with Hardy, “Wait in the Truck,” also cracked the top five this week, so she might have another one one under her belt in the very near future…

Congratulations to Lainey on another #1 hit, and here’s to many, many more in her future.

She also performed the single last night on the CMT Awards, where she also took home the trophy for Female Video of the Year for the music video:
