Taking a page out of the Garth Brooks playbook, eh Blake?
For a while now, Garth Brooks has commonly referred to himself as “Mr. Yearwood,” of course, a reference to his wife Trisha Yearwood.

And now Blake Shelton is jumping on the bandwagon.
His wife Gwen Stefani gave him a bedazzled jean jacket that reads “Mr. Stefani” on the back ahead of his Back To The Honky Tonk Tour stop in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Cute…
Obviously, it’s just a joke and I don’t think Blake is going to be donning this on stage anytime soon… or, you know, walking down the streets of Los Angeles on his way to shoot The Voice.
But nevertheless, that didn’t stop his fans from leaving a number of disapproving comments on Gwen’s post:
“Nope not a good idea frankly disrespectful”
“Blake I’m sorry but don’t like your jacket, it should say your last name.”
“Another impersonal, obligatory post by Gwen’s PR team. This shit show of a marriage is over as soon as the final episode airs and the checks clear!”
“How to publicly emasculate your husband”
“She’s used a strap-on on him, I guarantee.”
“Is there a dislike feature?”
“All I can say is not a fan of it.”
“Can’t believe he would wear that.”
“I don’t think this is a nice jacket, it speaks I’m a woozy.”
“Blake really?”
“Nope.. no Mr. Stefani. She is Mrs. Shelton.”
“That’s what she did to Gavin. Doesn’t work out too well.”
“How demeaning – poor guy … take it off”
“No on the jacket! Country music always! Your last name, not hers!”
“Can’t believe he would wear that.”
And it goes on and on and on like that…
I mean, you just gotta love the internet, right?
Something tells me Blake doesn’t spend too much time reading comments on social media…
