Patrick Mahomes’ Dad Was Feeling GOOD After The Chiefs’ Win Over The Bengals: “I’m Smoking On The Joe Burrow”

Last night, the Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket to the Super Bowl, after kicker Harrison Butker drilled a 45-yard field goal in the final seconds of the game to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in the AFC Championship.

Of course, for every football fan who wasn’t a Chiefs fan didn’t want to see the game be determined by Bengals defensive Joseph Ossai’s late hit out of bounds on Patrick Mahomes, that ultimately gifted the Chiefs 15 extra yards and the game…

BUT, that’s a different story…

After the game, it was easy to see that the Chiefs came into this game with a chip on their shoulders, especially after the mayor of Cincinnati called out Mahomes, and even referred to Arrowhead Stadium as “Burrowhead,” because the Chiefs had yet to beat Cincy quarterback Joe Burrow in his short career.

And Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, was not afraid to give Mayor Pureval the business after the game:

“Burrowhead my ass. WOO. It’s Mahomes’ house.”

And one more for good measure:

“How about this beautiful trophy. Huh? Hey I’ve got some wise words for that Cincinnati mayor: know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni!”

However, Kelce wasn’t the only one talking that shit after the game. Patrick Mahomes Sr. (the father of Patrick Mahomes, incase you couldn’t put that together), wasn’t afraid to let ’em know either.

The former MLB pitcher was seen holding a cigar on the field after the game, where a reporter asked him what he was smoking.

That’s when he hilariously responded:

“Yeah I’m smoking that Joe Burrow… I’m smoking on Joe Burrow.”

Huh?

He was then asked how it felt to be returning to the Super Bowl, where he responded:

“Oh it feels great, you know? My favorite boy did what he always do, he gonna show up and show out, and I’m just glad he did it.”

LEGEND.
