Florida Law Enforcement Says WWE Legend Kevin Nash Is Doing “Okay” After Wellness Check

Earlier this week, the wrestling world was incredibly concerned about the mental state of WWE legend, Kevin Nash.

The 63-year-old lost his son, Tristen, last October at the age of 26, who suffered from seizures, which doctors believe was a result of Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome, after he had quit drinking cold turkey.

And on one of Nash’s recent Kliq This podcasts, he said some very troubling comments:

“Today is week 12 that I lost my boy. Time flies when you got a gun in your mouth… I mean, time flies when you’re having fun.”

Co-host Sean Oliver was clearly troubled by the remarks, responding:

“Don’t play like that. You have guns so you can’t say those things.”

Nash responded:

“I can do whatever the f*ck I wanna do. Long as I leave a note.”

Oliver then asked him what’s been going through his mind since his son’s death, and Nash responded:

“Every morning when I wake up, the first thing that happens is, I come to the realization that instead of there being three human beings in my home, there’s now two.

And the third person isn’t on vacation or staying with friends, or is out late. He is never coming back.

And then I sit up in the bed and I have absolutely nothing I have to do, and it’s like, ‘so, why am I getting out of bed?’”

So, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida decided to do a wellness check on the famed wrestler, and luckily enough, they told TMZ that Nash has no intentions to act on his comments, and he appeared to be doing okay when they checked on him.

As you can imagine, going through a tragedy like this can take a toll on your mental state, but it’s great to hear that Nash is pulling through.

Nevertheless, continue to keep your thoughts and prayers with Nash and his family.
