Chilling 911 Call Released From Jeremy Renner’s Brutal Snowplow Accident: “His Ribs Look Crushed”

Jeremy Renner

On New Year’s Day, the horrific news broke that Mayor of Kingstown actor Jeremy Renner had to be airlifted to the hospital after suffering from a snowplow accident, while trying to help clear a path for a neighbor at his Reno, Nevada home.

At the time, all we knew was that the 51-year-old’s leg was ran over by the 14,000-pound snowplow, and a neighbor, who was a doctor, had to try to help stop the bleeding before the medics arrived.

We also now know that the extent of his injuries were much more serious than what was originally perceived, as a source explained:

“It’s much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there.”

The actor suffered “extreme difficulty” breathing due to injuries to his chest, and lost a lot of blood from his leg and head during the accident as well.

“Word is the damage to Jeremy’s chest was so substantial, it had to be reconstructed in surgery.

So far, he’s had two surgeries and he will likely require more in the weeks ahead on his leg. Doctors tend to space out operations to allow time for the body’s natural healing process to kick in, and that’s the case here.”

It could take as long as two years for Renner to fully recover from his injuries.

Since the accident, Renner has shared some updates of his condition via Instagram, like this one:

“Thank y’all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”

And now, with that being said, we now have the 911 audio recordings of that horrific day, via ET.

A neighbor made the 911 call, and you can hear them say:

“He is in rough shape. We just need someone here right away with life saving techniques.

He got crushed underneath it, yeah. There is a lot of blood over here so you need to get someone over here immediately.”

Throughout the call, you an hear Renner moaning in pain in the background, as the neighbor tries to comfort the actor.

The neighbor continued in the call:

“He got crushed up on his right side, yeah, his right chest and upper torso. His ribs look like they might be crushed. He’s got a head wound as well.”

Needless to say, it was an absolutely terrifying situation, and I’m still not sure how Renner survived such a brutal accident… he’s one tough SOB.

We’re pleased to know now that Renner is no longer at the hospital and back at his home, but he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
