Morgan Wallen Performs Surprise Set At Peyton Manning’s Knoxville Bar, After Tennessee’s Win Over Alabama

Morgan Wallen country music

Oh, to be in Knoxville last night.

If there was ever a place in America to party last night, Knoxville, Tennessee, was the place to be.

Seconds after a game winning field goal from Tennessee Volunteers kicker Chas McGrath, to beat Alabama 52-49, all hell broke loose at Neyland Stadium.

The cigars were lit, fans rushed the field, the goalposts came down, and in the ultimate display of trolling, Alabama’s “Dixieland Delight” was cranked over the speakers.

And since most of us had money on Tennessee here at Whiskey Riff (or money on Alabama to cover once they went down 18), everybody was feeling like a Volunteer last night.

East Tennessee natives Morgan Wallen, Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney were on hand, as was Tennessee alum, Super Bowl-winning quarterback, and all-around awesome dude, Peyton Manning.

And after the game, the party carried on over to Saloon 16, a bar and restaurant owned by Peyton Manning, where Morgan Wallen took the stage for a surprise set.

Introduced by none other than Peyton himself:

He did a little “Whiskey Glasses,” as well as “Sand In My Boots,” and “Cover Me Up.”

Look at ol’ Peyton over there lobbying for one more song.

You can’t turn down Peyton Manning in his own bar:

And to cap it all off, Morgan teased a brand new one called “Tennessee Fan,” which… who knows how long that ones been on the shelf.

I  mean, if he’s been saving it for a Tennessee win over Alabama, he could’ve written it years and years ago.
