Well, it looks like the rumors may be true.
It’s no secret at this point that there’s been trouble in paradise between Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen.
Eyebrows started to raise when Brady missed 11 days of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ training camp, and there were rumors circulating that he and Gisele may be going through a divorce.
Since, sources have spoken out about Gisele’s displeasure for Brady coming out of retirement earlier this year, after he promised that he was done and going to spend more time with the family:
“There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids. They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind.
It’s almost like Gisele was like, ‘Well if you’re going to keep playing, so will I. She’s resentful that Tom is still the football superstar.”
Sources have also noted that the two are currently separated, with Gisele staying in Miami as Brady stays at their home in Tampa.
Now, it appears that a divorce just may be inevitable at this point.
According to Page Six, both Brady and Bundchen have reportedly hired divorce lawyers.
One source told the outlet:
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is.
I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what finances will be.”
The couple will likely divorce in Florida, and a source said they’re looking to divide their assets, which include a $26 million portfolio. From 2021 to 2022, Brady’s estimated overall net worth went from $180 million, to $250 million, making him the ninth highest paid athlete in the world.
And Gisele, she’s reportedly worth more so needless to say, there’s going to be A LOT of money to figure out.
Granted, nothing is official yet, but it’s not looking good.
Reps for both parties haven’t responded to the statement.
They share two children together, Benjamin, who is 12, and Vivian, who is 9. Brady also has a 15 year old son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
