If you’re a football fan, you gotta love Terry Bradshaw.
I mean c’mon, the NFL Hall of Famer is a 4-time Super Bowl champ, a hilarious personality as an NFL analyst, and he’s starred in a handful of movies (is there a better Sunday afternoon (non football season) rom com than Failure To Launch?)
Not to mention, he’s just a good ol’ country boy from Louisiana (I’m willing to forgive his ill-informed bashing of Aaron Rodgers last year).
However, it appears the man is ready for a change of scenery, as he just listed his 744-acre Oklahoma ranch…
For a whopping $22.5 million.
According to the New York Post, Bradshaw first tried to sell the ranch back in 2014, listing the estate at $10.8 million. However, it stayed on the market until 2016.
But it’s back on the market again, as the family has “inundated with requests to sell,” according to a statement from Icon Global.
Bradshaw and his family was on the verge of selling the estate that overlooks the Red River, but the deal fell through.
Icon Global’s Bernard Uechtritz told Dallas Morning News:
“Unfortunately, despite a series of contract extensions after repeated assurances and promises from the buyer, as well as his agents and other representatives, the buyer sadly failed to follow through, perform, fund and close the transaction.
So as of today, the entire ranch is back on the market, and it’s now not a matter of if it will sell but to whom.”
The ranch is located in Southern Oklahoma and is a working equestrian center and cattle ranch, with riding trails all throughout.
“The property and facilities are a turnkey-ready proposition for a major equestrian player in the horse business or continued use as a cattle or private recreational ranch. The ranch is an hour from Dallas and Fort Worth.”
Standing at 8,600 square feet, the house has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The interior includes four brick stone fireplaces and Control4 and Sonos systems.
The exterior features an outdoor patio that spreads around 1,000 feet with a full kitchen, bar, fireplace, a hot sauna, and firepit.
Other parts include eight small lakes, horse facilities that have a 12-stall stallion barn with a wash/groom area, a 2,600-square-foot manager’s house, and a four-bedroom bunkhouse.
Take a look:
“(My wife) Tammy and I are both sad to leave this great big ranch and our wonderful home, which has been our idyllic retreat of so many years.
However, it is time that we slowed down a little, freeing us up to travel more as well as enjoy new grandchildren, family and other interests.”
However, some might suspect there could be other reasons for selling the massive property.
Fans are beginning to wonder if Bradshaw is going through some health problems, as he was seen on FOX NFL Sunday slurring his words and losing his train of thought on camera, and also seemed to be wincing in pain.
A number of folks took to Twitter on Sunday to express their concern for him:
