Everybody loves a good walkup song.

We all know the tradition on baseball, where the player gets to choose one of their favorite songs to get hype to as they step up to the plate, and if the fans resonate with the song, it can be the difference between loving and hating the player.

With that being said, this is starting become a fan favorite tradition in NASCAR as well, as the drivers get to choose a song to walk out to during the driver introductions.

The list of driver walk out songs has been released for this past weekend’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The list itself is pretty diverse, ranging from just about every genre imaginable.

And of course, we have our fair share of country songs too, and some of the drivers who chose them may surprise you a bit.

Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace both went with some Tyler Childers, as Blaney chose Childers’ new single “Angel Band,” and Wallace chose “Long Violent History,” the title track and only lyrical song to his 2020 album.

And for other country songs chosen, Kyle Larson chose Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem,” Ross Chastain chose Tracy Byrd’s “Watermelon Crawl,” Martin Truex Jr. went with “Need A Boat” by Morgan Wallen, Chase Elliott with Warren Zieders’ “Ride The Lightning,” Erik Jones with Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. chose HARDY’s “Sold Out.”

Of course, Blaney had all kind of trouble so might want to shy away from the Childers goin forward, Bubba didn’t fare too well either…
