What a way to celebrate the life and legacy of John Prine.

Next month, on October 7th-12th, the Prine family and his label, Oh Boy Records, will host a weeklong tribute show in honor of the late John Prine called You Got Gold: Celebrating the Life & Songs of John Prine.

All proceeds will benefit his Hello In There foundation, and there will be a slew of daytime events in Music City, in addition to six sold-out evening concerts with some very special guests who have yet to be announced.

For Monday evening, there will be a special show in honor of what would’ve been his 76th birthday at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on October 10th.

The special show will feature John’s band, along with many of the performers who shared the stage with him over his decades-long career.

His widow, Fiona Prine, is looking forward to hosting more than 7,000 fans and 70-plus surprise artists across several days for a week of fun celebrating John’s incredible music and legacy in country music:

“We are so excited to invite you, our beloved community—both artists and fans alike—to this long-anticipated fall week in Nashville. A celebration and tribute to John feels so overdue yet is happening right on time.

Our amazing team have worked tirelessly, making sure everyone feels welcome to participate in this memorable and unique experience. Thank you for being a part of it.

Your support for me and my family has meant the world and we look forward to spending time with everyone in October. Hello in There; I know John will be with us in spirit all weeklong.”
